< Almond and Kiwifruit Torte>
This was my very first time baking a homemade cake for my hubby on our 10th Anniversary ROM, I was glad that he liked it so much...
180g Sponge mix
45g Butter (melted)
1 tsp Vanilla essence
60g Toasted almond (crushed)
200g Fresh cream (whipped)
3-4 Kiwifruit (sliced)
- Beat the sponge mix, eggs, milk in the mixer with high speed until light and fluffy.
- Turn to low speed and add in the vanilla essence and melted butter until well blended.
- Preheat oven to 180'C, pour batter into prepared tin (18cm and lining bottom with greaseproof paper) and bake for 30 min.
