Recipe: Almond And Kiwifruit Torte On Our Anniversary 奇异果杏仁蛋糕

< Almond and Kiwifruit Torte>
This was my very first time baking a homemade cake for my hubby on our 10th Anniversary ROM, I was glad that he liked it so much... 

180g        Sponge mix
3              Eggs
45ml        Milk
45g          Butter (melted)
1 tsp        Vanilla essence

60g         Toasted almond (crushed)
200g       Fresh cream (whipped)

3-4         Kiwifruit (sliced)


  1. Beat the sponge mix, eggs, milk in the mixer with high speed until light and fluffy.
  2. Turn to low speed and add in the vanilla essence and melted butter until well blended.
  3. Preheat oven to 180'C, pour batter into prepared tin (18cm and lining bottom with greaseproof paper) and bake for 30 min.

   4.   Remove from oven and let cool entirely and cut into 3 layers.
   5.   Spread whipped cream onto a slice of cake and the crushed almond.
   6.   Continue repeating the same step and layering until finished.
   7.   Coat the entire cake with whipped cream and side with crushed almond. 
   8.   Decorate with kiwifruits as desires.

Tadaaa~ Almond and Kiwifruit Torte are ready to be served...
