Recipe: Sweet Sour Pork Ribs 糖醋排骨

600 g            Pork ribs ( cut into small parts )
2 stalks         Spring onion ( cut into sections)
6 slices          Ginger ( cut into slices )

2 tbsp         Chinese cooking wine
3 tbsp         Light soy sauce
2 tbsp         Dark soy sauce
5 tbsp         Vinegar
45 g            Sugar
0.5 tsp        Salt ( or as desire )

  1. Add 2 tbsp chinese cooking wine and 1 tbsp light soy sauce, covered and seasoned for 20 minutes..

  1. Heat up half cup oil in wok, deep fry marinated pork ribs until fragrant and cooked.
  2. Take the pork ribs from wok when it turns lightly brown.

  1. Leave 1-2 tbsp cooking oil in wok.
  2. Add sliced ginger and green onion, stir fry until fragrant.
  3. Add pork ribs and remaining light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and stir fry.
  4. Pour in 1-2 cup of water fully immerse the pork ribs.
  5. Add vineger and sugar, stir well and bring to boil. 
  6. Reduce heat and cover the wok for 30 minutes.

  1. 30 minutes later, when the sauce has reduce, taste it and add salt as desire.
  2. High heat to thicken the sauce.
  3. It's ready to be served when the sauce is thick.

Dadaaa...the dishes is ready, enjoy!
