My Favorite Movies- Up

< Up > is a inspiring, moving and comedy movie, narrative of an elderly widower named Carl Fredrickson and an earnest young Wilderness Explorer names Russell who fly to South America by floating in a house. I nevertheless love the part which narrates the heartwarming and love story of Carl and his deceased wife, Ellie, of how Carl first meets Ellie, how Carl crosses his heart and vow to fulfill Ellie's dream, and they get married...Despite the part is kinda short and simple, it touched me so deeply and makes me cried regardless. After all the film centers on Carl & the little scout boy Russell following Ellie dies.

< Up > is a 2009 America computer-animated comedy-aventure film produced by Pixer. As the Director- Pete Docter say, "Basically the message of the film is that the real adventure of life is the relationship we have with other people, and it's so easy to lose sight of the things & the people that are around us until they are gone. More often than not, I don't really realize how lucky I was to have known someone until they either moved or passed away. So, if you can kind of wake up a little bit and go,"Wow! I've got some really cool stuffs around me everyday", then that's what the movie's about". It's truly inspiring, as it said, there are many great stuffs around us, we simply banish from thoughts most of the time, and when the time we come to realize, it's simply too late...So start an unforgettable and amazing adventure life with your love ones before too late, simply live in the moment. ^^

< Up > movie trailer.

< Up > scenes when Carl first meet Ellie, Carl's future wife, who confides to Carl a big dream of an adventure life moving her house-the abandoned house in the neighborhood next to the cliff overlooking Paradise Falls, Venezuela, South America, and making Carl to cross his heart and promise to help her. Carl has his vow before Ellie without hesitate...

My favorite scenes of < Up > which makes me cried again & again every time see it, simply heartwarming, touched and miserable. Its narrative all about the love life for both Carl & Ellie ever since they get married, how the doctor verifies they are unable to have child together, how they repeatedly pool their savings for fulfilling their dream to Paradise Falls, how they keep spending it on more pressing household needs, how Carl finally gets their ticket to Paradise Falls and tries to surprise Ellie, and how he eventually has enormously grieved due to Ellie falls ill and dies, leaving Carl alone before Carl was able to fulfill her dream.

The scene where a quiet boy, Carl, who idolizes a renowned explorer Charles F. Muntz, befriend with an energetic and somewhat eccentric tomboy, Ellie, who is also a Muntz fan..

On their wedding day...

They move in to the abandoned house in the neighborhood on the day they married, starts repairing & decorating their dream house together~

They starts to tell of their dreams together..

Spending every moment together....

They becomes old but still loving...until Ellie becomes ill and dies, leaving him alone eventually...

A certain time later after Ellie dies, Carl still lives in the house where now surrounded by urban development, yet he refuses to move out. He ends up evicted from his house by court and ordered to move to retirement home due to them deeming him a "Public menace", where he injuring a construction worker over his damaged mailbox. Therefore a weird & unprecedented scheme turns up to Carl , where he turns his house into a makeshift airship, using thousands of helium balloons to lift it off its foundation, and heading toward Paradise Falls, to his promise to Ellie...

Who knows the little Boy Scouts of America named Russell who attempts to get his final merit badge, "Assisting the Elderly" which let him keeps approaching Carl, has accidentally becomes the passenger of the "Airship", and seems irritating Carl pretty much.

The house eventually lands near a large ravine facing Paradise Falls....

This is the Ellie's Adventure Book where Ellie records every adventure stuff happens around her...and starts  recording every moment after she married with Carl which is the only adventure thing for her either where remarks as "The Things I'm Going To Do..", however Carl used to think Ellie's Adventure is being an explorer and moves her dream house to Paradise Falls, and he finally knows that Ellie's adventure life was given by Carl after their marriage...

The scene when Carl finally reads Ellie's Adventure Book which written down "Stuff I'm Going To Do" is all about being with Carl after they married life, and thanking Carl for the adventure...So touched~

Reinvigorated, Carl finally letting go the past and starts his new adventure with Russell & Dug..
