Enjoy Your Tasty Fresh Coconut Ice Cream With Magnificent Sea View @ Koh Samui Thailand

We've been to Koh Samui before, it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary on 17th March 2012, therefore this was the 2nd time we were traveling to Koh Samui ( it was so happened to be the same date though on 17th March ) on 2013. In fact it was totally contrary to our expectation where me and my honey had been planning to celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary with our babies ( fur kids ), but everything was turned out that we needed to join my honey's company trip to Koh Samui once again. Nevertheless Koh Samui ain't a great place for come along with a group of people which was merely nodding acquaintance, due to it is a perfect getaway for couples, a bunch of great friends or family. However I'm glad that I was able to discover this renowned authentic dessert < Lamai Fresh Coconut Ice Cream > which recommended by the local and it was totally omitted on our previous trip.

The stall is quite easy to be spotted, wonder why we had omitted it on our previous visit. It's located at the seaside cum roadside of a magnificent sea view lookout at Lamai Beach.

< Lamai Fresh Coconut Ice Cream > is absolutely down-to-earth...

Waiting for my turn....

It was scorching hot weather, it couldn't be better to have a cooling & refreshing dessert before kept on to the next destination...

The lady boss's photo is becomes the trademark of the stall. So don't ever say that you can't find it nor get the wrong stall..lol~^^

This is the lady boss whose face is shown on the trademark of the signboard. She is a very friendly lady though.

Simply choose which ingredients you would like to add on or you may mix all. For the first trial, I'll prefer you can mix all in order to taste the original flavor what it supposes to be. Some of the ingredients may taste fairly sour and some may taste sweet or salty, somehow they match one another perfectly regardless of taste or texture.

The ingredients seem to be so simple & plain as pineapple paste, banana chunk, pumpkin chunk, yam chunk, peanut and sticky rice, yet it's Not. I would never thought that every single of sour, salty and sweet foodstuff could be so appropriate in taste to one another. You may choose to mix all of them or any of them to add on ( unlike the one in Jatujak ( Click Here ), you may only allowed to add any two of all ingredients they have ), but little advice from me, the sticky rice is the most important ingredient must add on, its special somewhat salty & chewy rice texture enhances the great taste of the dessert and also make it fairly unique and vary from the renowned Coconut Ice Cream @ Jatujak Weekend Market, Bangkok ( Click Here ) in my previous post.

We were gonna start to savor it...

Mmmm....nom nom...

There has no table or chair to be seated but merely some concretes along the pavement. However it was great enough for us to sit on and enjoy the magnificent vista, in the meanwhile we could enjoy a bowl of cooling refreshment.

The magnificent panoramic sea view of Lamai right before your eyes with comfortably warm sea breeze whispering to our ears while savoring a handful of cool, refreshing yet delicious dessert in the meantime. What a day ^^

Isn't it look yummy-licious? It makes me drooling though each time seeing the picture...

Now you see it...

Now you don't...hahaha...

You may ask for the fresh & down-to-earth coconut water which is absolutely free.

Mmmm...so refreshing...

Haha...We have bought the tool from the lady boss since she has demonstrated so well using it to gouge out the coconut meats each time serving the desserts. Guess what, it has totally sold out after "besieged" by our tour group, I was fortunate enough to get 2. :-)
